Context

A travel & lifestyle brand in Rome with no meaningful social presence. The brief was simple to say and hard to do: build an audience from zero, across multiple platforms, fast, and make it the brand’s primary discovery channel.

What I did

  • Ran six accounts as one portfolio. A flagship (@romeitalytravel) on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube, plus satellite accounts (@thetipsytour, @romewithchef, @carpediemtourss) each with a distinct angle, cross-feeding the same content engine.
  • Built repeatable formats, not one-off posts. Found the hooks and edits that travelled, then templatised them so output stayed high without diluting quality.
  • Owned community, not just publishing. Replies, DMs and comment-led content turned passive viewers into a returning, high-intent audience.
  • Used platform-native rhythm. Posting cadence, trends and sounds tuned per platform rather than cross-posting identical assets.

Result

1M+ followers across the portfolio in under a year, from a standing start: 447K on TikTok and 306K+ on Instagram for the flagship alone (311K at peak while I managed it), plus 88.2K on YouTube.
